The Neurodivergent Learners’ Bill of Rights
Every neurodivergent learner deserves to feel seen, supported, and respected in their educational journey. This Bill of Rights affirms their right to:
Inclusivity: Learn in environments that value and respect neurodiversity.
Accommodations: Receive tools, strategies, and supports tailored to their unique learning styles.
Understanding: Be accepted for who they are, with their communication and regulation strategies recognized—not pathologized.
Participation: Have a meaningful voice in decisions that shape their education.
Autonomy: Make choices about how they learn, engage, and connect with others.
Respect: Be free from bullying, discrimination, and stigma, with their privacy protected.
Advocacy: Access the knowledge and opportunities to self-advocate and shape their own educational experiences.
